About the Program

This week long program is largely to do with mountaineering (rock climbing, abseiling, hiking & navigation skills) as well as a few adventurous water activities thrown in for good measure!

If you're aged 15 - 18 years old and want to learn some skills that could start you on the road to becoming a rock climber ,hill walker and general outdoor adventurer then this is the week for you!

We'll spend most of the week in the Mourne Mountains climbing in various areas, from quarries to large mountain crags, all the while introducing you to new skills and climbing techniques. We'll also introduce you to navigational skills in the mountains and how to deal with emergencies on the hillside.

On one of the days during the week, we will take you to the North Coast and head climbing there as well as the super adventurous water activity Coasteering , which is one of the most popular adventure activities available these days.

On the second last day of the week, we aim to take you on an expedition in the hills, where you will have to navigate through the hills completing fun and challenging tasks along the way to get points for your team. At the end of that day we will arrive at  camping destination within the Mournes and set up camp for the night where we will sleep out under the stars. On the last day, we will have a choice of adventure activities for you to do before heading home.
