About Your Day

Private Guided Climbing Days offer you the best value for money as you get a low instructor to client ratio (max 1:2), meaning you get loads of time on the rock, as well as plenty of chances to learn from our experienced instructors. Whether you're a complete beginner who wants to be guided up some classic rock climbs, or whether you're a competent climber who wants to learn a specific skill, this type of day out is perfect for you as all the content is tailored to your needs.

Typically based in the Mourne Mountains or Dalkey Quarry outside Dublin, however our highly experience climbing instructors can deliver private days across the whole of the UK and Ireland upon request.

Throughout this full length experience day we will get you to do as much climbing as possible and leaving you both tired and exhilarated, heading home dreaming about your next day out on the rock! A real adventure experience and not to be missed!

  • Attaching to the rope & Introduction to climbing calls

  • Movement skills

  • Introduction to belaying & the belay system

  • Safety in the mountains & weather

What to bring:

  • A completed Health Declaration & Registration Form - see footer of page for link

  • Good hiking boots that are well broken in

  • Head torch with spare batteries

  • Emergency bivvy

  • Fully charged mobile

  • Water proof jacket and trousers

  • Lots of light top layers

  • Lunch and water
