CHARITY HIKES

Charity Hikes are a fun yet challenging way to help raise money for your favourite charity. Our team of experienced Mountain Leaders will guide you at the right pace for your group on mountain hikes with breathtaking views, passing on fascinating bits of knowledge about the area you're in along the way.

Simply contact us if you want to make an enquiry

Our normal location in Northern Ireland for these events is the Mourne Mountains, simply because they are the most stunning and challenging mountain range in NI, and offer wide ranging challenges such as Slieve Donard (highest point in NI), or multi-peaks walks such as our "Smuggler's High Road" trek, that covers 6 Mourne peaks, 14km of walking and 1400m of ascent!

Other NI destinations include the rugged Causeway Coast, where we run 10km, half marathon and marathon distance events along the Causeway coastal path

We also offer charity hikes in ROI, including a popular hike up the highest point on the island of Ireland, Carrantouhill, or  hikes across the pond in Scotland, such as the highest point in the British Isles, Ben Nevis.

SMUGGLER'S HIGH ROAD

Come challenge yourself with our Smuggler's High Road trek. Based in the Mournes, starting at Bloody Bridge outside Newcastle, we will guide you across 6 mountain peaks that overlook the famous smuggler's route, the Brandy Pad.

Our Mountain Leader team will fill you in on some fascinating knowledge about the history of the Mournes, including the history of the Mourne Wall and the reservoirs, the Geology of this amazing landscape (we have a resident geologist on the team) and of course some tales of how the Mourne men of old smuggled various illicit items across the mountains along the famous route below us.
