The first part of a two part navigational skills course. This day out is guaranteed to be challenging, educational and of course good craic like all of our courses! Perfect if you want to learn a new skill and have fun in the mountains, and a precursor to part two which covers more advanced skills

Suitable for: individuals and groups who want to learn a new skill
This skills day is the first day (PART ONE) of a two day navigation course. At the end of this single day you'll be on the road to becoming safe and idependent in the mountains. The perfect introduction to navigation for complete beginners or those who need a refresher. Part two is a recap and advancement on part one and is usually delivered during the afternoon into the night, so that night navigation can be introduced.
NOTE: The price listed is only for one part of the full course.

Refresh on all topics from part one, Aspect of slope, boxing, aiming off, Back bearings, Night navigation
*** Day one of the course runs from 10am until 4pm, day two runs from 3pm until 9pm. For a supplement, we can offer an overnight camping experience to link the two days on dates that suit you***

- Use of our maps and compasses (but we encourage you to get your own)
- A guaranteed good day out in the hills with lots of learning to be had!

Please note - we need a minimum of 4 people on any given course in order for people to purchase the £45 ticket, so please contact us if you are an individual, and we'll get you placed on a list for addition to a course with people alrready on it.
1 - 4 people: flat rate £180 in total (if you're alone get some friends to come along to reduce the cost, or we can maybe source other people if you don't know anyone - ask us if this is the case)
Additional people above 4 participants: £45 pp

This ticket is suitable for groups that are 1-4 people in size. PLEASE NOTE: this is the price regardless of it is 1 or 4 people in the group, so it is beneficial to get extra people to reduce costs. We may be able to help source additional participants if you can't, so give us a shout if this is the case
